"Oh, no! Tomorrow's the first day of school and I still haven't done my summer reading list!"

 "That's funny...  I Googled for 'learn to speed read in one hour' and nothing came up."

 

                             "Summer vacation just isn't long enough..."

                        "There's never enough time to play with all my toys!"

 

               "Oh, noooooo...!!!  Only two more days of summer vacation left!"

"This is so depressing. I need to come down with some sort of fantastic, super-scary disease!"

       "It says in here that bubonic plague can be spread by rodent fleas..."

              "Mother--  Remember that hamster you promised me last year?"

 

"It's bedtime and I can't get to my bed again...  There's only one thing to do."

 

                  "I told Father it might be fun to have a real Noah's ark..."

                                                 "So he built us one!"

"Unfortunately, he and Mother weren't too thrilled when the animals started showing up..."

                             "So now it's a pirate ship!  As for the animals--"

                             "I only kept one pair.  Don't tell on me, okay?"

 

                      "Oh, Mother--  Don't go into the kitchen, okay?"

                                    "Wow, that sure got rid of her fast..."

                                  "Well, really, what was I thinking?"

 

"I need a decoration for my piano but the stores don't have any busts of Beethoven!"

                "Guess I'll have to see what I can find in the big playroom."
