"Uh-oh... Mother went to the farm stand and came home with a ton of vegetables.  YUK.  What could she do to me next?"

 

                         "Father got some golf equipment for Christmas!"

                                         "I only played with it a little..."

 

                                          "Merry Christmas, everybody!"

 

                "Dear Santa:  Please write all my thank-you notes for me."

 

                                 "Wow!  I got a letter back from Santa!"

 "Dear Danny:  I received your letter requesting that I remove all oatmeal and vegetables from your mother's larder.  Please understand that this is not a function of my office.  Please also be informed that there are millions of poor, hungry children all over the world who--"

                          "Unbelievable!  Santa sounds just like a grownup!"

 

"Wow!  A UFO just landed and this big green alien wants to take me back to his home planet for study!  I should probably get permission..."

                          "Mother says I can go to any planet I want."

 "Uh-oh...  The alien is reading my yearly letter of explanation to Santa Claus..."

                        "He left without me!  I really should learn to spell..."

 

                      "I've been trying to get excited about Christmas!"

                  "Trouble is, I still haven't played with all the toys I got last year."

 

               "It's that time of year when I'm supposed to write to Santa..."

              "Dear Santa:  I'd like some candy and a public storage unit."

 

"I'm in a total panic!  Mother says Santa might not leave me anything when he sees how much stuff I already have!"

 

"Mother and Father are arguing about who is going to go up to the attic to find the Christmas tree ornaments.  Mother wants Father to do it.  Father wants Mother to do it."

 "They're still arguing.  Mother says she went last year.  Father says no, he went last year..."

                                                        "I'LL DO IT!!!"

                                             "Me and my big mouth..."

 

   "Mother says this is her busiest time of the year.  What a crazy way to feel!"

                   "All anybody needs to do is sit back and wait for Santa!"

 

"P-ss-t!  I'm hiding from Mother because she wants me to vacuum.  See that closet under the stairs?  I'm in there!"

       "Note to self: next time, don't hide right next to the vacuum cleaner!"

 

                                   "I really shouldn't watch the X-games..."

 

               "Mother has promised me a big candy bar if I clean my room..."

      "You know, I think I'm getting too old for this juvenile fixation on sweets..."

                       "On the other hand, maybe I could choke it down..."

 

"I'm gonna perform an amazing stunt to impress the cute-little-girl-from-next-door.  I'm gonna bounce real high and somersault right over this parked car!"

                                "That is, if Father doesn't drive off in it first..." 

 

"Here I am again, this time because I won't eat my oatmeal.  Heh, maybe Mother will forget I'm here...  Maybe I'll miss the school bus...  Maybe I'll MISS SCHOOL."

                                                      "I should dream."

 

     "The mail's here!  And so is my Presto-Change-O Supersize-It Wand!!!"

                                  "This thing will be so much fun!" 

                                             "Oh look, a spider..."

                              "Maybe this wasn't such a great idea after all..."

 

            "I really should remember not to turn Mother's purse upside down."

 

                     "My parents think I don't get enough exercise."

 "Do they have any idea how much energy it takes just to get in and out of this room?"

 

        "That's interesting.  I've been sent to my room.  This is punishment?"

                            "I guess her brain cells finally kicked in..."
